How do I use the Reading sections?
In the Reading section you will read passages and answer questions about the passage. Most questions will be on the left side of the screen and the passage will be on the right. In Reading you may skip questions and go back to them later.
Use the scroll bar to read the entire passage carefully.
Click on Next to move to the next question.
Click on Back to go to the previous question.
Click on Review to go to other previous questions.

In the Review screen you can see which questions you have not answered. From this screen, you can go directly to those questions.
Click on a question to highlight it.
Click on Go to Question to move to the question you highlighted.
Click on Return to go back to the previous question.

Some reading passages contain a word or phrase that is underlined in blue.
Click on the word or phrase to see a definition or an explanation.

Reading Question Types
There are 3 types of questions in the Reading Section: Multiple-choice, Sentence Insertion, and Chart (Drag and Drop).
Multiple-Choice
To enter an answer in multiple-choice questions, click on your answer choice.
To change your answer before going on to the next question, click on another answer choice. See Screen 1: Sample Reading Test Screen.
Sentence Insertion
In this question type, you are asked to insert a sentence at an appropriate place in the reading passage. There are four black boxes in different places in the passage.
Click on a black box in the passage, and the sentence will be inserted in that location.
To change your answer, click on another box. The sentence will move to the new location.

Charts (Drag and Drop)
Drag your answer choices to the spaces where they belong.
To make a change, click on an answer to remove it.
Then drag different answer choices to the spaces where they belong.
To see the reading passage in this question type, click on View Text.

Reading Skills
In Skills, you may check your answer immediately and you may try again if your answer is incorrect.
Click on Check to find out if your answer is correct or incorrect.
Click on Explain to read an explanation of the correct answer.

Reading Mini-Tests and Complete Tests
In a Mini-Test, you have 20 minutes to answer 13 questions about one reading passage.
A Complete Test is divided into 2 parts. You have 20 minutes to answer 13 questions about one passage in the first part. The second part contains 2 passages. You will have 40 minutes to answer 26 questions about the two passages.
At the end of the test, you can review each question, your answers, and the explanations in the Results Report.
